Upon an invitation from Arabian Internet Publishing Company (AIP) to design and develop their planned Arabic content portal about quality of life - EBM proposed an integrated solution, EBM E-Publishing Solution, that will achieve the following objectives:

► Feedo portal project objectives:
• A simple content portal, very easy to use and navigate through.
• Very fast loading speed to accommodate browsing through large content amount.
• To fully delegate the site administration and publishing to AIP staff with ordinary computer
   skills (MS windows office).
• Building the portal traffic to meet AIP target visitors profile and numbers.

In general, the objectives of our proposal were to let AIP concentrate on building, developing and administrating the publishing of the portal content - the essential part of the site - and outsourcing the development aspect of the project as well as all the activities of building the portal traffic and web marketing.

► Feedo portal project description:
Feedo portal consists of the following main systems:
• EBM Content Management System.
• EBM Advertisement Management System.

► Project challenges:
1. Very complex content structure to be presented in a very easy to use and navigate interface.
2. Fast loading speed despite the limitation of the regional bandwidth and telecommunication infrastructure.
3. Handling the Arabic language both technically and in positioning the portal in the global Internet community.
4. Portal administration and publishing delegation to AIP staff with ordinary computer skills.
5. Positioning the portal to be unique and key player among the Arabic content portal in the Arabic content community.

    Extensive efforts were put in the design phase to overcome the project challenges and resulted in the following:
      A. website development objectives that cover all aspects of the projects:
           technical, commercial, social contribution, etc.
      B. Interface design:
           I- Easy to use and navigate through the complex content structure
          II- Graphic design and art work that carry on the site identity
      C. All systems to achieve the portal objectives and adequately run the site and build its content.
      D. Loading speed constants were put.
3. Website development:
    Using EBM formal development methodologies and proprietary Arabic language protocols, the portal was efficiently developed
    in a record time.
4. Publishing the site and our portal administration systems and plan was submitted to AIP and full training was given to AIP staff.
5. EBM very efficient web traffic building services succeeded in positioning Feedo portal as a key player in the Arabic Internet
    community.
6. EBM deployment consultation services have assisted AIP in efficiently managing the portal content and building efficient work
    flow charts to create and maintain its content.
