Name: Hand in Hand Initiative

Specialization: Hand in Hand is an initiative proposed by both ITIDA and EITESAL for bridging the gaps between Academia and Industry within the ICTE community in Egypt. This is achieved by addressing the real problems that hinders the fruitful collaboration through rational approach and proposition of realistic solutions aiming to foster the relation between both parties and develop a well established environment that fosters the relation and benefits the community.

The initiative targets the realization of three main mechanisms that are seen to be essential to:
1- Regulate the cooperation between academia and industry through the formation of the whitepaper.
2- Establish solid grounds for communication
3- Create supportive mechanism to assist the accessibility to available and future funds.
